I only have a handful of mileage results in this week so far – but I have to post the chart now because I’m not sure if I’ll have time later today to do so. it’s going to be a busy few days working on the Bands Marching Festival.
Also – I’ve decided once we reach the 20 Week mark that I will no longer be tracking everyone’s mmileage. The Challenge has taught each of us over the past 20 weeks to be accountable for our exercise, to set goals, and to do our best to reach our goals. Please feel free to continue to post your weekly mileage in the forum though! We’ll still be able to hold one another accountable there.
I reached my personal goal of 500 mile – FINALLY – and will continue to increase my mileage every week. I’ve got my eyes on a total of 60 pounds lost by the Holidays – and I need to step up the exercise if I’m going to reach that goal.
I’m happy to say I have a 3.1 pound loss this week! I’m just 12 pounds away from my next mini-goal – and a trip to Cold Stone Creamery! {yes – we will work the reward into my calorie limits for the week!} I’m dreaming of what flavors and mix-ins I can have – after all it’s a treat I won’t have again for months – I have to make sure I pick the exact mixture of flavors to satisfy all of my cravings! Did I tell you I LOVE JENNY CRAIG!

Please get your mileage into me by the end of the night! We’re ending Week 16 and I’m hoping to see some good numbers this week! I’ll have the chart posted Monday afternoon.
Hello Fat Marchers! We are now entering Week 15 for some – Week 5 for others. I’ve decided to post the spreadsheet from the very first week of the challenge so that we can see where we were at the start of the summer … and compare to where we are now! As a group we’ve walked over 4,000 miles!

I see some of us have definitely taken a hit when the kids have gone back-to-school. Some of you – like me – have had trouble adjusting to the school schedule and are trying hard to fit in the exercise along with every other parenting task at hand. Let’s see if we can set a goal of just adding 5 additional miles to our totals from this week.
I personally have switched from my exercise bike back to walking .. and my weekly totals are going to be fewer than before. This week my goal is to walk 3 times this week .. and have at least 1 strength training day. It’s a small goal .. but compared to last week it’s much better!
I’ve got to refocus my mind to get back in the game – so I’m taking a baby step with an obtainable goal. If I make it through this week and reach that goal .. I’ll worry about adding more next week.
So for me .. just a 1.5 pound loss this week. I’ll take it … as it’s right on schedule to reach my goal of 35 pounds lost before the Holidays! I’ve dropped down to the 1500 calorie level as well with the Jenny program … considering I’ve decreased my activity. Let’s see if I can start dropping 3 pounds a week from here on out?!

Hello Fat March Challenge Participants!!! Even though it’s a HOLIDAY today – your mileage is due to me ASAP! Here’s what I have so far – everyone did a smashing job {except me – I hang my head in deep shame!}

There’s a FANTASTIC new challenge going on over at The Chubby Network – and I encourage each of you to hop on board! We have just 16 weeks left until the Holidays, and Chubby and Joni have challenged us to lose 35 pounds!! This is just about 2 pounds a week and is a perfectly obtainable goal!!!
