Weight Loss Challenge Site – run by NBC

They ask that we don’t tell the whole world since the site is still in Beta .. but I know there are a few of you who stopped reading the forum around the same time I did. A little birdie told me about the site and I thought I’d check it out. It look pretty decent .. so I went ahead and registered. I’m sure everyone will figure out who I am eventually … but I’ll be keeping my comments strictly on my personal weight loss!
There are challenges, etc …. that we’ve all been wanting to manage ourselves. This will be a version of The Chubby Network .. just run by the Pros! I wouldn’t be sharing this site with you if I didn’t think it was a fantastic adaptation of what we have been trying to accomplish.There are teams forming … and I would love to have you guys on my team! I actually requested to be a team captain and have called it “The Chubby Network” in memory of our old site. So check it out and let me know if you’d like to sign up!

HI Mike – I’m playing around with the site this morning and finding A LOT of bugs still. It looks like NBC plans on having the site out of BETA and LIVE in time for the show premiere in two weeks time. I’ve put in a request to be a team leader … and submitted the team name as The Chubby Network. Unfortunately, NBC wants to control the team captains and won’t let me know for a few more weeks if I’ve been selected. They have no reason not to select me {well … if Skampy is in charge she may deny me for personal reasons.}
I’ve set the team theme as “Losing Weight Your Way – an eclectic group of weight loss strategies and support”. We’ve never all done the same program … and this way we don’t have to be stuck in one theme. Our team will be open to anyone.
Mike – I sent you a “contact request”. If you didn’t get it let me know … it means that feature isn’t working yet either.

Woo Hoo! I’m happy to see that little lamb! My sis is thinking of joining up as well … and if Karen is lurking around my blog I’m sure she might be interested as well .. I know she was looking for team challenges again. I’m hoping that we can have a team of 5 or more.
